Title: Full video of a battle
Post by: chaudard on September 04, 2018, 06:45:13 AM
This video is not a tutorial. It's the full battle. In this first part of the battle, you will see how to do the "zero in" with the new artillery system (when "in battle" artillery is present: a high commander is needed. If a high commander is not here, the artillery controls disappear after deployment phase).
You will see all the first phases of the battle: deployment, initial orders, the first hour of the battle.
The second part will last 2 more hours, with statistics. The purpose of the video was to track some bugs, so the camera view can be weird, sometimes.
First part:

I will upload the second part soon (2 more GB to send...).

Do you actually get 3 hours of battle?  I only get 2 even though I have 3 hours set in options for tac battles.

I was told that 1 hour is taken up for the operational phase, thus the tac battle cannot be longer than 2 hours?

Yes, you play campaign battles, so 2 hours max. I play QuickBattle, I create my own campaigns with my own rules. In QuickBattles, the battles can last 3 hours.
