Title: Platoon mortars advice Post by: MegaNoob on October 11, 2019, 11:01:17 AM Hello, I'm learning to play Mius-Front and I have a question that I can't seem to find answer for.
My platoons have mortar teams in them with 5 cm mortars. How do they get their designation? Are they similarly controlled by the platoon commander as the mortar batteries? So platoon leader should have LOS to target and be within 100 meters to mortar team, have AI control off. Mortar team should have AI control on and be allowed to fire at will? (Those are default settings that allow mortars to lay auto designated fire) I have created a test battle where I have platoon leader with LOS, mortar team without LOS, but in 100m to commander. Commander and mortars had radio ((><)) and ... incons above them but mortar did not fire a single round. How do I troubleshoot my mortars? Or did I miss anything?
