Much obliged Kyth
Many thanks to Kyth, Frinik and a host of others here who never failed to answer my questions no matter how redundant or verklempt they were.

And without Frinik's testing I'd still be pulling my hair out.
Cheers

Hemi your mission is very enjoyable and I have bene pleased to make variants of it with 1942 models, 1943 models and late war models. So I have it in 3 different varinats on 3 diff installations.

Make more Kyth and Rends could use competition other wise they are going to corner the SF mission-making market ! Grin

Hi,

Having played through the mission (at level 5) , I do have a couple of comments,

- It's rather easy  Smiley The hilltop defenders do a good job all by themselves,

- The constant twists and turns at the beginning get quite exasperating; on subsequent replays I cut it short by ordering a direct heading to the point of action,

Maybe I need to turn up the difficulty  Grin

Sorry Kyth, I tried to get the units to stick to the roads. If you follow the roads a number of the triggers
are activated.

I play this with a balance of 8-10.

Hi guys,

There doesn't appear to be any difference in the force balance at level 8-10. It's still a walk in the park  Grin

I was half-expecting a 2nd & 3rd wave of Soviet attackers after beating off the 1st one?
After all they're supposed to "Stop at nothing to gain the railhead".

So in summary, I'd suggest considering a few minor changes  Grin

- Do away with the zig-zagging and the sappers at the beginning, it's quite a pain with very little pay-off, anyway players will bypass all that tomfoolery as soon as they get wise,
- Have a 2nd and even a 3rd wave of attackers at the medium and higher levels of difficulty. Don't give them too easy a time, keep them on the edge!

It's first attempt just to lure players but I'll be Hemi's military advisor on his next attempt and I'll make sure that the thrill seekers are served.... Grin

Whukid are you talking about the green and yellow one?

If yes that one I got from ShocK3Wave's tiger skin and MG34 sound mod which he made over 18 months ago( May or June 2010 I think) along with with Friedrich Wilhelm Tiger I missions. It's called PanzerVI enhancement pack.If you want I can email it to you.He posted his mod on the SIMHQ tanksim forum.
