I can unpack the sounds but when I go to convert to wav using a cmd file nothing happens, am I doing something wrong?

This is what I have in the command file:

starter.exe wav2aaf, users\modwork\shot_mg42.loc_def.wav, users\modwork\shot_mg42.loc_def.sound

or does the wav2aaf only convert from .wav to .sound?

Yes of course  wav to aaf - converts wav to aaf (.sound) in-game format  Grin
