3 questions from a newbie

I just bought the game today and I wonder:
1. Is there a way to add chinese-made vehicles (like type 59/69) into the game or is it done/included in the game already?
2. I saw something called August patch. Is it needed for me to play the game?
3. Where can I get the playable BMP-1? The link seems to be dead...

U can play vanila version, but better to install:
