I have the Gamergate version.  They have patch7e and v517_en.  Do I need them both?  I thought usually Graviteam patches are comprehensive and dont need the earlier updates but I wanted to check.

Yes,you will need both.One is the engine the other is an update patch.

Hmm OK.
I think the V517_EN has both patches.  I removed the V517_EN using the updater and tried to apply the patch7e and was told I already had that update.
