Hi
A question regarding the manual, I'm currently going thru it correcting typos, etc. and have also added the missing translations that can be found in the FAQ, now I wonder if it would be OK to post that manual here so the community can benefit from it.

Also I wonder if it is allowed to expand the manual by the things that were added by SPM and re-released it as a manual for the SPM.

I think it is a great idea !!

I would like to have the revised manual, and I think that it would be very usefull to have the improvements introduced by SPM 1.5 explained in the manual. Excelent idea !

Currently I'm going over the manual and try to fix the language, some parts seem to be poorly translated, also it will be totally reformatted as Acrobat smashed any silly thing Word provided into the word file and it was a whole mess to clean that all up, looks now a bit less "fancy" but as long as there is no problem reading it I don't mind less "Schnickschnack".

After that I would like to use the manual in a "test mission" to check out if things really work like described, no need to provide wrong info or key commands, so in case anyone has a clue how I can easily change the tank in the 3 tutorial missions please post it here http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=10266.0 or maybe someone can provide some kind of "test mission" where I can go thru without any disturbance.

For the SPM additions, isn't there a readme anywhere for the Beta, Ultimate Update(there is a readme but it simply doesn't provide any info) and the UU patch?

I'd recommend a polygon "0_test_shoot" from the "mission pack 1.0c".

Do have a link to that file or the pack?
The link I found over at tanksim.org.ru seems to be dead.

http://www.4shared.com/rar/wpMpk9Ni/Missions_pack_10c.html
There're two missions "Fire ground" on the same polygon:
1. german (stug IIIG)
2. soviet (T-35)

Thanks, but JDownloader reports it as only for premium users and manually using Opera browser it also doesn't work.

Does anyone now how I can contact "ntalex" & "Mishel_new"? I would like to merge there PDFs with the manual but I can't find them in the member list of this forum.
Also does anyone know who made the "stugIIIG_aiming.jpg" that explains the StuG IIIG aiming?

Thanks.

I need some help with a paragraph that gives me headache as I don't really understand it.
Original is this:
***
At calculation of damages in the game the arrangement of the basic units of techniques being under control of the player or AI is considered. Deducing out of operation these units can lead to various effects which model features of damage of this unit, for example: stop of vehicle, jamming of a tower, loosing of tracks of the tank and others. At the certain degree of damages of vehicles the crew can leave it.
All tanks and the majority kinds of vehicles have the armouring that is means, that armour has different thickness in different projections of vehicles and it is necessary for player to consider it during fight.
***

I formed it into this:
***
At damage the calculation in the game is arranged on basic units of techniques being under control by the player or AI. Deducing operations out of these units can lead to various effects which model damage features like: stopping vehicle, jamming of a tower, loosing of tracks from a tank or other vehicle and at a certain degree of damage the crew of a vehicle can leave it.
All tanks and the majority of vehicles are armored, this armor has different thickness in different areas of those vehicles and it is necessary for player to consider this during combat against those vehicles.
***

Still not sure if I really understand what the paragraph is about, main statement seems to be "Yes it is very realistic".
