Stormpower has an auto activation so they dont supply an id or pass . the game seems to be linked to there game cliamt . the game can be uninstalled from my pc but the download seems to stay on there server .
When i reinstall the game i do not need to re download . It is definatly NOT on my hard drive , so they must store it and link it to my account ..

Eventually got an aswer from suport .
THe game can not be patched and does not suport any dlc or addons . So i have spent money for nothing . Somthing to do with there auto update system by the sound of it . I Am not happy ,why are they selling a game they are unable to support . Oh well live and learn . I will not touch storm region with a barge pole in the future , luckilly i only have Jutland
Back to combat missions battle for normandy and TOW ...

Completely false. When you don't know what you are talking about, just try to read the differents editors manuals released with the game. BTW, I have played TOW and all the sequels and, imo, GRAVITEAM developped the best wargames I have ever experimented. Yeah, it's more difficult to take in hands that cm:bn or tow but the result is x10 better  |

Note to self.........never buy anything from them.  Moronic 3rd party software and slow to adapt to change......bad buisness practice IMO. Have to be quickly attaptable to change.... Steam is vary slow on updating less popular software as well. Think it took them something like 4 months to offer an update patch for DCS a10. But with that you could just go to ED websight and plug in your cd key and would work just fine. Well thats what I did. Will never buy off steam unless it is major release title. |

3. Install District Update - k43t_apos_upd_dist_taran_rakit_may12
I read somewhere else that DLCs are to installed as Number 4, so I Uninstalled them before patching. Game works for me.

No need to uninstall........just move up on updater list. These files install to thier own folders and the updater basicly tells the game in what order to read the files. Last on the list is read first then so on....so things on the top of the list over writes things lower on the list. It does this everytime game is started.

R Game Updater now says that I have the following updates installed: 1. Game update 3.08 2. District update 1.03 3. Addon Sokolovo 1943 4. Addon Blau 1942 What am I doing wrong?!!! R |

Yes june 2010 it's a latest DirectX. Where is a june 2012 This question to Microsoft  With june 2010 files the game version 580 will not start. You need: 1) MS Visual Studio 2005 Redists (with security updates 2011) (installed automatically or manually from docs\support\redists\vcredist_x86_sp1_v2.exe) 2) MS DirectX Redist (june 2010) - download from MS site if not installed 3) Game - not in Program Files folder (on Win7 x64) 4) Admin rights 5) Select right game folder in core update 580 6) Unpack and install patch May 2012 in game update utility 7) Click Save and Play button. 580 its not a game version its core update version. |
