I have noticed that in NTA 1.8 the Tiger I has lost it's yellow camo. The new camo is much darker and it looks like the original black stripes that were on the original Tiger I model are visible...Why is that?

It was firstly implemented a long time ago - November Update 2012 Wink
May I suppose that u're working in Intelligence Service?  Grin
Just kidding  Cheesy
The answer is simple - make skin a bit more darker with some strips. Of course, u may get back a yellow one or even make two tigers with a dif. skins. It's very easy.

BTW
How many units did u manage to place in the battle? At this moment I've ~100 and my PC has only 8 fps.

Odd because in my versions of NTA 1.6 and 1.7 the Tiger I still has the custard yellow camo. It's only in NTA 1.8 that it became darker?Huh?? Why not adopt the Whukid's late war camo for the late Tiger model rather than the default orange-green-yellow one???I know the existing (default) one is correct as I have seen photographs of a Tiger painted like that but in imo Whukid's late war camo is much nicer not to say sober....

Re the intelligence service; I admit my failings but I blame it on the Ukrainian "maskirovka" tactics used by some of this forum.... Wink

Re the fps if I use small( early war) tanks such as the T26, Bts, T60 or 70, or the Panzer I, II, III, 38t and German apcs I can put 120 units on the map and get 18 to 25fps on my laptops( res 1600 X 900) , high quality in game , performance, Vsync and AA off on gpu..With larger mid or late war tanks JS, T34/85, SUs, Jagd panthers, panzers, tigers, Tigers or Panthers I can only go as high as 85 to have decent fps....No infantry no aircrafts....

On my desktop I can a little higher for both early and late war machines...
I must admit that since NTA 1.6 and SPM 2.0 the framerate somewhat  has improved over Beta 1.5.

Almost correct, it was Daimler Benz prototype for the panther, its called vk3002 db =) Only one prototype made if i remember correctly
vk3002 m is the one we know as the panther. Prototype made from MAN.

It was in fact an almost integral copy of the T-34 a proof that that tank had really shaken the Wehrmacht.Of course it would have been a Germa i.e improved version of the T-34 which good optics, better quality armour, better gun, radio and better ergonomics  but probably too heavy and overengineered; the usual German flaws....

KV-1 is still the best tank during the period 1941-42.

In some cases yeah, but against 88s, the Pak 40 and Pz IV F2s it's about as much use as a sluggish T-34, which would pretty much be the reasoning behind phasing it out and replacing it with The Greatest Tank of WW 2

I love the Kv-1 and the KV-85 too. Yeah they had their flaws but still better tanks than the T34s which were just German tank fodder. They only gained notoriety because the Sov could produced 45 000 of them despite the heavy losses they suffered.
