Indeed! The first huge battle was a real rush! Especially once the artillery started coming down right on top of the assault route and I had to punch it to make it out, all the while speeding towards the huge Soviet tank formation. Actually, I recall closing the hatch not even a second before one of those huge arty shells landed right next to my tank - what a spot of luck!

Great screenshots! Those scenes of post-carnage and mayhem. They bring tears to the eyes again.

the following one, where you first encounter those abominable KVs Not meaning to go off-topic here, Just as a point of curiosity, what tactics did you use against the KV's in Mission 4 (Dawn's Early Fright)?

Come on KapulA it's just a pretext to show off your stats!!!! Haha, I admit, there might've been just a tiny bit of vanity in posting those 2 debriefing screens And Kyth, regarding the tactics, the battle is a bit blurry as it's been some time since I've taken those screens, but iirc, they crested the hill unnoticed by me as I was embroiled in the melee with all the T-26s and T-60s, and luckily they focused their attention on the Panzer II Zug or the other 38 (t) Zug + one of my wingmen; I recall that I diverted all my attention to them after having dealt with the last of the smaller tanks and that I fired some shots at the mantlet & gun of the first KV at close range (100-200m) and proceeded to detrack it after being reasonably sure that I disabled its armament. After losing their gun and their mobility, the crew decided to ditch it, at which point (maybe because of a trigger or yours or just tactical AI) the second KV started to retreat. I gave chase and aimed for the tracks as to prevent them from escaping and proceeded to target the gun area again after immobilising it, which convinced the other crew to abandon their tank as well. I'm not sure if I managed to knock out the gun of the 2nd tank (might've been just the sights and/or hydraulics), but it mattered little in the end. There also might've been some shootin' & scootin' involved (around the bushes and shrubs at the summit of the hill), but I'm not really sure anymore. As a P.S., here's a couple of screens from Rends's Barbarossa campaign where I managed to take out 6 KV-1Es with the long Pz III (what can I say, you brought this display of vanity upon yourselves ) To be fair, it did involve a fair amount of dodging their fire by reversing into the cover of various huts, shacks and bushes, but all in all, not a bad score I think

Well done indeed! I emulated you knocking off 11 to 12 Sov tanks including 2 T-26 in that same mission( playing at balance 10) may be 5 to 6 months ago.I have pics of the wrecks buit not of the stats The Panzer III ausf J is indeed a tough little beast and it's gun is pretty efficient....
