Is it possible to turn off the commander's voice commands (left, right, reload etc...)?
Yes, but u need to edit some files. Look here for details:
http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=9691.msg18959#msg18959

I see "left, right, forward" type commands in german voices file, but nothing in Russian voices file. Only shouting soldiers on the field... Huh?

I included some phrases-files(silence) of the german crew into my mission PzVG. U may check it out.
For the russian:

There are no hidden files.Normally your Russian voices are in the tank folder.

AS I said you can disable the voices from in the game menu or from your Config file:
Set the speech volume to 0 and save

i_soundman:soundman()
{
   //óñòðîéñòâî äëÿ âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ çâóêà (0 - ïî óìîë÷àíèþ)

I did all of these (game menu speech to 0 and even in config file). Would you believe that nothing stops commander shouting in the tank?...
I really do not have Russian commands in Tank file. All in German (225 items). The "rus" file contains only Russian infantry on the field voices.
Did 1.5 Ultimate update and patches made it work this way?...

Hey, all that shouting adds to the atmosphere.  You know, some local 'colour'.  Grin

No. I have 3 variants of the ultimate mod and all have all the Russian and German voices, infantry, tanks etc...

I personally like having the commander's voice announcing the targets and giving orders, it gives colour and immersion to the game. I have disabled the subtitles...But the infantry screaming not really fun at times. Roll Eyes

OK, here's a small compilation of the silence phrases for the russian crew:

Did you check your hum_cfg folder?You can find the send_list_ger and the send_list_rus file which contains the list of all the speech lines used by the infantry in the game.

I am not sure if I did it right. I copied all files into the corresponding game's folder. It did silenced some of the Russian commands, but not all. Again, I see only German files in this folder (now with copied Russian files).
Thank you for the help! Now it's getting quieter.  Grin

Asoted above by  Kyth!

To pack your mission( which essentiallly means export it), you highlight it with your cursor then click on pack.You'll get a prompt asking you for the destination fodler asking you where you want to sa ve the file. Just indidcate the one you want and your mission will be saved in  datapack format.You will still have th emission in your ME but now you have a second copy as back-up.If that mission disappears form your game then to re-introduce it click on the unpack tab f direwtc the query to the folder where you saved it and it will be copied into your game.

I was trying to "pack" my mission and the saved datapack file is only 4 kb Huh? It's not how it should be?

It's quite normal size for the packed mission. But at this moment, such format is not good, coz some users can't unpack mission and there's lack of information (background picture, citation, history description). So, unpack mission type is more preferable.

For simple basic missions 3 to 4 kbs is very normal .

So "unpack" is also type of saving? I just need to save all what I am creating and be able to reopen it  on other rcomputer or post it for other people to check it out.

No. All mission files will be in open type.

For such purpose, it's a good decision to keep mission in pack form.

I'd recommend to compile a missions for users in open/unpack form.

Lunar once you pack one of your missions in an outside folder( create one in your documents called Lunar user made for SF or something like that) you can put them( unpack) in another instal of SF if you have one.Then once it's been unpacked in your other instal you just run the mission editor in that instal and you can edit the mission if you want.I have Hem 14 different instals of \SF many with different mods some older ones I need to keep in order not to lose stuff that I made and which is not compatible wiht some of the newer mods. Thuaif I like a mission and want to edit it in anothe rinstal I do it all the time without problem.The only restriction is that if you have some models on one instal which are not in another instal then your mission might crash.To avoid this you can open it into the ME and make changes( for example repalce existing models in one instal but not available in the other by the appropriate model) then your mission will play normally.
