LODs work much better in most cases!  Wink

Great to hear! Looking forward to trying it out as soon as I'm back on my gaming 'puter - have you managed to solve the LOD issues with the trees I reported in the last version?

It struck me a couple of weeks ago that SF was lacking an actual dry summer landscape that would fit Kursk (or generic July/August) scenarios, and I decided to see what I could do about it, using lajcak's great vegetation skins and my humble GIMP knowledge. I found the end result quite appealing and decided to share it here as a small token of appreciation for all the incredible work this mod community has done. Also, seeing that it's basically a recolour of lajcak's work, I'm posting it in here instead of creating a new thread.

Here are a couple of screens:

And the link:

Seeing as lajcak hasn't replied to my PM granting me permission to release this, I'll just go ahead, and remove it if he raises any objections.

Thanks for the kind words frinik. Smiley
Hah, just re-read the previous page and noticed that I spontaneously came up with the same season name as lajcak did; and, judging by his previous work, we'll have no need for my work-around once he returns.

I tried your mod, it's nice and looks great.I am keeping it as I like having different seasons on my various installs Grin I think Lajcak4s summer mod will look different enough that there's room for yours and his!

Heh, I thought 4shared might turn some people off, but to tell the truth, I too only registered on it to dl a single mod I wanted and consequentially decided to use it as a host, as I already had an account. The registration is pretty quick & painless, doesn't even require e-mail confirmation, but regardless, I'll see what I can do about providing you with an alternative host asap Smiley

Hi guys just to lrt you know you can make a fairly good early winter mod by swapping some of the grasses and bushes around between autumn and early spring with the winter no snow mod.I also adjusted the hue and saturation on the bushes and trans_grass.

Glad you guys like it - I'll create a new topic in a short while then, if you think it's necessary. I refrained from doing so originally as all of my work was based on lajcak's mods, so I thought it fitting to release it as a sort of add-on in his thread. Mayhaps a new thread will enable people to find the mod more easily Smiley
