Just bought new PC, everything was working on old PC but not now. I had to redownload
APOS from Gamersgate and when I start the game it says I have version 5.75, and I cannot
even find 5.77 and 5.80. On Gamersgate it has 5.81, so have the earlier patches now been
superseded by 5.81and is this the one I install first, as I am not sure about patch install order.

Yes, you would install 5.81 over your base game.  It contains all the updates, I believe.

OK. When I do this the clock appears and seems to be installed but when I save and save and play
I get a message about being no disk in the drive etc which I cannot get rid off. Is the order the 3 patches
appear on Gamersgate the order in which to install, i.e. the first one being at the top and the 5.81 being the last?

The engine 5.81 update is a self installer, just make sure you point it to the right directory. the AUG patch you have to install thru the game update screen ,same with the district patch. Never heard of the no disk in drive thing. I couldn't tell from your post if you tried to install the engine update thru the game's update screen or not.

BRING BACK MARKERS

« Reply #5 on: January 16, 2013, 08:54:42 PM »

Yes it is.  Sometimes it's a desc addpack and sometimes it's a Ktwhatever.exe extension that you have to search for with the updater.  March 2013 alpha was the desc addpack variety.
