Ya donkin got close.  Its the issues rigging interiors into sabow that is the issue.  Bringing EVERYTHING from gtos into sabow is totally possible....and shockingly easy.  Except the polygons.  That is probably only doable from a modding perspective if you somehow magically find whatever buried code does that.

However... t62 interiors in a t34 is not gonna cut the mustard IMO.  Maybe it nudges Gravi to look at a ww2 game from gtos assets after muis?   Tongue

Getting support for anything SABOW is highly unlikely due to UIG.  Although for eastern market maybe a different story.

I wish him the best of luck I REALLY do.

He may have a better time of it since he is doing a tank there.  Assuming an interior.  But this is deja vu.  Both what I tried and Donkin too.  But if he solves the interior woes... I hope he shares.. scale looks a bit off...?

It does resemble a Tamiya 1/35 scale model (before painting)  Grin That's intended as a compliment.

Good work! It's a very important step to develop SA.
But I want to say, that game will has a status attractive to the casual players(at this moment the game has a very comprehensive barrier how to start) only in case, if there will be possibility to make a new polygons with european houses/trees/fields whatever..
As I know in SA theoretically u can make polygon with a size 10x10 km. Well, it's a good size Smiley
But can u imagine how many efforts, time and patience u've to pay to create such polygon? I'd recommend to developers (of course, only in case, if they are interested to get more ppl in modding) to give a possibility to create a simple polygons with a size 2x2km. And first of all, give a usable sample of the polygon and some-kind of polygon editor. Undocumented utilities are not interested for the casual players.
This is only my personal point of view and I'm not going to have a discussion.

Yes polygon issue is a big one.  But also working interiors for customs tanks.

In west I think we are screwed due to UIG saying NO.

I got some responses through PMs according to my post. And count on this I'd like to add a couple another words.
At this moment, in spite that SA has more arcadish style playing to compare with a true sim SF(no user jumping in another tank or last member of crew), this game still hasn't more users.
The question is why? And answer will be simple, imho - the present arcade style of SA game was spoiled by additional feature of the strategy. Thus user don't know is this game a true arcade with elements of tanksim or this is kinda of strategy? The question has a rhetoric status, coz answer is not obvious.
Of course, we've count on the game popularity the absolute absence of the polygon editor. It doest that user has to play on the default maps or have a smoke Smiley Well, it was mentioned in my previous post.

Video is awesome!
But as Xambrium says, link not working.  Sad

Also - By "old mod need to delete" do you mean to say we can delete the playable BMP mod?

Sigh,  pining for another Graviteam WW2 tank sim on the Mius engine.  Steel fury gets more outdated by the day.

Вам тоже надо сделать свою технику управляемой.
You need to do your technique a manageable too.  Wink

LOL, those look familiar.  I never did bother sticking them in the encyclopedia.

Some day Ill be getting back to sabow.  I got really frustrated at getting my M38a1 jeeps to be playable.  That and no new maps (polygons).  I hope to also update those old m113's.  Exteriors soon as I have time.  Interior meshes for playable are extremely primitive that I made and where for testing and learning.  For now I hope to update old meshes and textures for GTOS.  Well until I get sick of it and go make something totally new.
