Without increasing its weight or velocity?
I wanted to make the .50bmg have its historic anti armor capabilities since at the moment it skips off even the thinnest metal.
I tried increasing its armor pen value and its reliability but it's no good.

Also does the free camera mod work at all?  I can't get it to work (I press the assigned key and nothing happens).

You can always tweak the armour penetration value of the projectile in the shell entries in the common re .It's number 7 in the lines:

//.50BMG MG for M-36
BUL_50BMG,0x09,%SHELL_AP%,BUL_50BMG,890,90,0.7,0.3,0,1,0,0,0.0472,0,0.6,8,6,6,0.1,0,1,1,1

Increase the value from 0.7 to 0.8 perhaps?

Doesn't work, the shot seems to be limited by its light weight.

Actually it might not be broken after all lol.
I've been testing it with the M3 halftrack and GMC as targets and well I had a look at their armor maps...... lol.

I fixed the thickness but what should the strength be set too?

Anyway here's a quick update on the M3 armor

http://www.4shared.com/file/SysI9DKyce/m3_halftruck_armor.html

6.5mm on everything but the front windscreen which has 13mm.

Also here's a armor map for the GMC to go with the M3, it's just the same 5mm all over but the tarp is now very thin.   Grin

Nope the gun's fine, it was skipping off targets because my "soft" test target truck actually had the armor of a tiger!
