As per the different post and the manual it is supposed to be 4 mils between the big triangle and the small one, or 4 mill between 2 small triangles.

Yet, I tried that for my calculations and all the rounds flew over head.

Now when I input 8 mils between the big triangle and one small or between 2 smalls, I am right on target with any rounds.

Are loaded unofficial patch sf V0.1. sound mod NTA 1.1, mission pack 1.1, mission pack 2.1, SPM (NTA) 1.8 full, mission pack 3.5 and MarchUpd_2014.

Does anyone can help regarding those sights as I found surprising that the Russian did not have a standard amount of mils between the triangles in all there sights.

Anyone can help?

8 mills between triangles and 4 mils between the slashes and the small triangles. The slashes which are between the small triangles?

The height of the big triangle is 5 mils, and it's base is 4, then the small triangles are 3 mills high and their base are 2, just like the triangles for the TSh-19 of the SU-100 or SU-85, right?....

I know, it is a nightmare to get it right, besides, I found a lot of info about the German Tank gunsights, but nothing about the Russian Tank gunsight....In English at least, and that is not historically fair!

I will try to post a pic tomorrow to be clearer.

Gunsight for the SU-100 was made by me. Also I adjusted gunsight for the T-34/85, but I don't remember which one.

I will try to post a pic tomorrow to be clearer.
That's a good idea. Also enclose image with right mills according to er point of view.

This is what I am asking you.

There is no literature in English about WWII Russian Tank sight.

Between Iron front liberation 44, T34 vs Tiger and Steel Fury Kharkov 1942, I am very confused!

Those  different triangles purpose is the quick ID of enemy tanks at different distance, at optimal range for the canon. That is the reason why they change from weapon system to a different weapon system and this is what makes it confusing.

OK. According to my knowledge the big triangle should has 8 mils, a small one - 4mils. I'll ask will1973 what he thinks abt it.

This is gunsight for the SU-100. I think that dimensions should corresponds to the Tsh-15.

What do you mean for the big triangle?... 8 mils high, 8 mils from the next graduation, or the next small triangle?

Here`s my version how it should be. The "big triangle" in the center.

Thank you very much.

As shown on the diagram, the distance between the big triangle and the first graduation is 8 mils.

The distance between the first small triangle and the first triangle is 6 mils.

But what is the distance between the first graduation and the first small triangle? Should I assume that it is also 6 mils?

That's my bad. It should be 8mils also. Here is another variant.

But the second version of you is also good and more preferable for me, coz more precise.

Here is original reticle. As my point, it's obviously that base of the big triangle has 8 mils.

Ok, thank you for the details, it starts to make sense.

So, logically, there are 16 Mils between each triangles.

the final version of my understanding of the TSH-15:

Excellent work! I'll place this picture in the folder "gunsight_readme" AprUpd. And I think gunsight should be re-designed according to the new dimensions and reticle.

This variant is perfect! I think it's too good to be the real. I think it's even better than German gunsight.
Gunsight has a very wide band of the targeting (i.e. PzIV):
- 1mil - ~2.5km
- 2mils ~ 1.5km
- 3mils ~ 1km
- 4mils ~700m
- 5mils ~500m
This is just IDEAL! Просто ЧУДОВО!
