Hi - first post here!

Just a quick question. I've literally just purchased Steel Armor this morning from Green Man Gaming. I've installed it but not played yet as I wanted to check out the community etc. This leads me to the Patches. Would my version be the latest version, or do I still need to install any patches, and if I do which ones would apply as I see there are a couple of versions to download?

I'd be very grateful for any advice.

Hi and welcome to forum!

This is the UIG old (I'd call it semisupported) version. You need core update and patch April 2015: http://graviteam.com/games/SABOW.html?action=downloads.

If you like the game you might consider buying another copy from Gamers Gate during a sale.  It is a double purchase for you of course but the GG version is the most up to date and gets good patching support.

Thanks for the advice. I had no idea there would be issues - I just saw a bargain! I'll put this purchase down to (bad)experience and re-buy through Gamers Gate  Cry

Ok I've bitten the bullet and purchased Steel Armor again through Gamers Gate. Now all updated smoothly. So much for the bargain buy!  Cheesy

Hopefully the Steam re-release sells enough to convince Graviteam to make a new nontactical tank game!  Grin
