Hi, I just downloaded the game and high res pack from steam.
I am running windows 10 64 on a 4.4 4770k CPU, 16 GB RAM and 2 x GTX 780  in SLI.
It doesn't matter if I disable the SLI and just have one card running every time I enter the combat map all I can see is a large expanse of squares and tree roots. No units can be seen. The game is unplayable Sad

As many times before.

I just bought GTOS + HQ Textures on Steam and I see these in game:

specs: Windows 7 x64 up to date, Intel i5-4690K 4,6 (also tried at stock clocks), 16GB RAM, Radeon R9 290
drivers are up to date, AA is OFF

Can You help?

Hi, disable AA in the video driver settings. Also, a screenshot would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum! Have you tried verifying game cache?

Edit: Don't forget to always press Save&Play when the game updater appears.

Yes, game is verified ("13 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" every time after game launch).
Yes, I always press "save&Play".

The screen shots are the same as the guy with the Radeon R9 290 dramas other than for some reason I have tree roots showing as well.
I have turned off the AA settings in the Nvidia panel and this made no difference at all.
Any thing else to try?

Does enabling the 6.08 option make a difference?

Just installed an R390 here.  Getting up to date drivers and see if I get anything weird.

Hello everyone,

just a quick note to mention that I have the same issue. Funnily enough, this is a recent problem for me since the last time I played (probably a couple of months ago) everything was fine.

I am running windows 7 64 (16gb ram) with a gtx 770 (driver 355.60).
I tried the following:

- reinstalling (from steam)
- force disabling AA on the nvidia control panel

I have not tried enabling the 6.08 option, where can I find it?

thanks for listening

regards

david

Hello, 6.08 is in Special settings - Enable managed textures.

Edit: Try installing the patch manually: point the game updater to "<Steam folder>\SteamApps\common\Graviteam Tactics Operation Star\!steam_cache\gtos_steam_upd_eng.gt2extension" file. And then Save&Play.

That's good to hear! I'll add this to the FAQ on Steam.
