"Sabow ..." patch PROBLEM

This is my first post - hope I do it right.  I've been a Guest here many times - recognize many Moderators from Steel Fury.  Now, I have downloaded Sabow patch (Sep15) and am stuck.

I think it might have to do with ingame Addon "Install"  but nothing seems to happen when I try.  Where should I place those 2 files  " gt2extension"  and "Addon:datapack"

I save the gt2extension to a place where I can find it.
I then select update from the game menu, then install, then I select the gt2extension file that I saved.  It installs then I hit save and play.

There are detailed instructions somewhere on the forum.

 problem solved - I moved the file thru same path as Manual directed for original insert into root folder (docs\support\redists) and it began Install into Addon popup.

Now I'm learning Quick Battle - the learning curve is steep for this sim, but end result is well worth effort.  Fantastic job by the Graviteam.   Did some of them used to work on Steel Fury?
