Tanks are extremely accurate on the move , able to score kill shots on AT guns with the first round 800+ meter . Facepalm

Yes, tanks sometimes shoot in motion, if the fluctuations of the aiming line do not exceed a certain bias, the target is static and/or dangerous. And sometimes even hit. I do not see any problems here, just as they did in real life. Shooting in motion was recommended in various instructions, even if it is obviously ineffective, it demoralizes the enemy.

Firing on the move is just to give the crew something to do . The chances of hitting a target at 800+ , on the move , with the first shot are so small even Dude Perfect would give up trying . I will give you the fact the 6pdr is like a laser , and the Churchill was a stable platform and it was on a road .... but still  Lips Sealed

Strictly speaking (from the point of view of the theory of probability and physics) in motion with const velocity or from a stop, absolutely equal. The question is exclusively in those accelerations that end the barrel at the time of the shot. And in the lateral displacement of the target relative to the aiming line. The shooting with uniform movement on level ground is no different from shooting from a place or from a short stop. And the probability of hit does not depend on the speed of movement directly. Those. at _other equal_ to hit at a speed of 0 km/h is also difficult/simple as at a speed of 100 km/h.

But the terrain is usually uneven, so the acceleration during movement is significant, and the AI will not shoot, on the go, without a stabilizer. Criterion "scare the enemy", also not formalized.
