2 Halftracks with MG teams loaded on board , as they came under fire all teams simultaneously "lost" the crew served weapons that they had all trained on for the last months .
Entrusted with the safe keeping and operation of these valuable assets , and just to abandon them under first fire . What type of men have you sent me ?  Facepalm

"On the defensive, MG 42s were shifted back and forth between different positions to confuse the enemy. The Germans called this tactic Stelungswechsel (change of position) and was a vital part of their overall machine gun doctrine."

No reason , they were not under fire , I just moved them 20 meters ..... sorry , we lost the important machine gun .  Facepalm

Is this supposed to represent battlefield attrition ? It happens very regularly .
