I just purchased all the GTMF DLC (actually had purchased the base game when released in 2016).

I played some GTOS, but not too much.  (I had trouble understanding the mechanics.)

I have reread both the GTOS/GTMF manuals.  Watched a few YouTube tutorials (WarSimmer).  Did a few game tutorials.

Given all the DLC, I want a battle/side which is easiest for a beginner (few units) and OPFOR at a disadvantage.

My comments:

* No, I don't just want to create a quick battle and play that.

* No, I don't want to set the game in arcade mode.

* However, I am NOT opposed to setting the AI's BGs to deplete and/or mine to receive extra reinforcements/supplies.

Thank you for your consideration.

PS:  Just out of curiosity as I have all of GTOS, what would be the recommended starting point for that game?

Try Verhnyaya Lubyanka in 6 turns. German will lost (you can hope a very difficult draw). URSS will win.
