Well not exactly, according to a post made by stone2009 at sukhoi.ru SPM 1.5 Beta will be availble Sept 14/15th. Not exactly sure whats with the Beta thing, hopefully some info will be forthcoming on this.

Bad News from Stone 2009 Folks! The Steel Panzer 1.5 is experiencing technical difficulties and they are unable to upload the beta version( beta means it's not a final, complete release.It will not include new campaigns which will be released later separately.It should however include new tanks and vehicles and new single missions for them). There seems to be a problem due to instability of network.I don't know what it means in practical terms except thta it will take them a few days or more to - hopefully- figure it out.  Frinik |

OK got it downloaded.
Put it onto game and all I can say is Beta.
Everything still in Russian even if you put the unofficial patch in last in the JGSME.
T34 gun sight still a joke.. Looking through the barral to sight something is just wrong which ever way you look at it. Where are the cross hairs?
Anyone can help me out in my issues would be much appreciated.

I am very happy and grateful about the Katyusha, the KV1M and SU 100.However I think we already have an oversupply of T34 variants and not enough of Panzer IV ( where are the G, H or J). I also hope for the Panther G or A and the Stug IV or the StuH42....
They are alo expanding the aircraft component of the game by modelling aircrafts such as the He111, the Stuka G 1942, some Soviet aircrafts(SU and ILs), the Mosquito etc.
I also hope they'll release an Alpha version of 1.5 with all the correctiosn in one package..

Norm; this is a direct translation of the Russian word Ekranami which literally means screen and refers to the KV1-E( Ekranami) Model 1940 with additional bolted-on appliqué armour and the F-32 gun.
