 ...i am a real greenhorn on tanksims and simply don´t find a hint in the manual how to create own small mssions/campaigns as in my favorite game Il2... resp. sturmovil1946-a flight simulator. is that a kind of mod or something?

In your "Programs" -> "Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942", find the link - "Create new mission".
