What i´ve found in the internet is that turret side armor increased to 50mm and turret front armor to 110mm.
It also could carry more shells (82) now. Overall weight increased up to 46,5t.

Specs (D and G version) could also be found here:
http://www.achtungpanzer.com/panzerkampfwagen-v-panther-sd-kfz-171.htm
You need to scroll down to see the comparison.

I foudn the same. It's probably taken from Thomas Jentz's book because I remember reading the comparison table in his Panther book!fascinating work!

The Panther A and D carried only 79 shells.

Yes, that is because of the reworked sides on the hull. They made the side armor in one flat pice with less slope as mentioned so it looks like the side armor on Kingtiger. Before it was straight and there where pontoons in the back.

Panther A and D:

And Panther G:

Here is beta version 1.5 "Panther A trophy".
Download.

There's one issue vs driver frontal hatch. In fact it's not a hatch, it's a sight cap, which could be opened or closed by key "G". Thats why AI almost always keep it open, coz he thinks it's a sight cap and of course, "thanks" to it a frontal armo of tank becomes more vulnerable and user can't close it by pressing key "6"(close all hatches).

This great Lockie but can't we have it for the German player too???It looks a bit odd having a German tank only available for the Soviet side?

Of course - YES! We just need waiting when Mistwalker will finish his model PzV ausfA.

BTW
U can manually add right now to the german side a current panther. Just make a change to texture (add bright, color).

Cool thanks!  Lockie why is the armour_thick set so high at 120????The D model is set at 100????Is it because the armour_map is not quite right or a personal choice???

The biggest armor: 120mm=100RGB level
U may check all other armor Wink
i.e.
frontal armor=71RGB, then in mm it'll be 120*71/100=85mm

ps
A personal choice was to make armor of the gun stronger - 60mm.

Nope Smiley
I just gave to u my explanations, why armor_thick=120;
All other models needs a specific armor_thick adjusting, according to the armor map RGB colors.
But they are already adjusted, so no need to make a changes. Well, may be jagdpanther armor still needs to be adjusted.

That's the one used by Skorzeny and his team during Operation Gryffin in December 1944?

Yes. I read, that the total quantity of M-10 was 10 pieces and all of them were destroyed at first attack. And mostly all captive german soldiers were executed by shooting, coz they had ally uniform and were counted as a spy.

And fater the war a German general was executed for signing the order to execute US commandoes infiltrated behind German lines and wearing civilian uniforms...It shows how equitable the laws of war are when enforced by the winning side!

No, no Skorzeny was never a general; he was Obersturmbannführer I think and indeed he died in Spain in exile. No the executed general was General der Infanterie Anton Dostler executed in December 1945.He served in Italy and that's where the incident took place in 1944.He was executed despite protests by some American generals who pointed out that he applied the same policies the Allies did with saboteurs and spies.Actually, he was forced to sign the execution order as Hitler himself had given the order that the American commandos were to be executed (Kommandobefehl ).
