One thing I found a bit strange is that if you have, say, 3 battles in a turn, and the start of the turn is 1400 hours. You can then pick which battle to play, and say it lasts an hour. The next battle you pick to play on the same turn will take place at 1500 hours, and the next whenever that last battle ended.

Shouldn't all these battles be taking place at the same time? It's kind of strange you get to kind of pick what time the battle occurs and in what order, even if you're being attacked.

Battles are of course sequentially and platoon can take part in several battles. The choice of the sequence obtained from them due to the turn-based nature of the operational phase.
