Hello,

I have a problem with Operation Star. The installation ran well, then I updated patch 581, installed expansion (aug12) and when I click save and play the game starts regularly. I can pay for how long I want, but after I exit the game and run it again, then error 002 appears:

Critical error
002: An error has occurred while initializing objects

[ i_opgame:opgame -> i_lines2d:lines2d ]

What should I do? Thank you for quick reply.

Patch or core update dont install properly.
Maybe antivirus or system does not allow to write / overwrite the game/patch files.

Thank you for the reply, but what should I do right now? The game once started, but after I start it again next time, it doesn´t run and shows this error. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

I had huge problems a long time ago that sound a bit like this.  What I would do if I was you:

1. Complete uninstall.
2. Delete everything you can find - game folders, config files etc.
3. Re-install the base game to a different directory - and NOT inside C:program files
4. Run the base game.
5. Create a new profile and then delete the old one if it still shows up - it might
6. Now install the patch and then the DLC
7. Reduce the dusk/smoke/tracer smoke settings etc.

See if that helps.
