Title: Modders United Post by: Aces on October 26, 2012, 09:00:39 AM No, not the name of a football team but rather a catchy name for an idea than I had yesterday evening.
Over the years I've come into contact with many very talented and knowledgeable "modders" from all the modding communities with which I have been involved. 3D modellers, 2D artists, military enthusiasts etc. etc. Looking through my Skype contacts list yesterday evening I noticed contacts from the BDG (BoB development Group), Steel Fury and Silent Hunter communities in particular. I'd like, if I may, to float an idea. If I was to create a Skype Group of that (or similar name) and invite my existing contacts and any others who would be very welcome to join, would anyone be interested?. For those that don't know me, my interest is particularly in WW2 german aircraft, naval vessels and armoured vehicles. I'm most fond of 2D work but have a little experience of 3D work. I have a pretty good military book collection as I know that many of you have and have been interested in WW2 military history all my life. I'm thinking that this would be a great opportunity to exchange ideas, skills and information with others of a like-mind and interest. Let me know if you think that this idea "has legs".
