I'm looking for a decent TGA conversion tool, either online service or app, I managed to get one image converted correctly but I forget which online site I used, since then I have tried several and none of them manage to convert the files correctly. Zamzar never emails me a link and the rest send corrupted files. If you look at the last 2 missions I did you'll see the the images are split, believe it or not they were the best I had after many attempts.

I am actually spending longer on this that I am on mission design  ::)

Any suggestions appreciated.

you should save image in .TGA 32 bit
If the image is split, it is because you save in 16 bit or 24 bit
try a free copy of any image editor ( i use an old photoshop version or photofiltre )

Most of the sites I found didn't give an option, it's convert to 'TGA' full stop.

Cheers, I got it running, pulled the image in, resized to 160x100, saved as .TGA but it's still splitting the image (16/24bit)  :-\ how do I specify 32 bit?

Nope, will do though.

Thing is I don't really have time to learn how to use unfamiliar software, what I'm really looking for is a quick and easy no nonsense method to convert jpeg etc images to .TGA 32bit, preferably in a couple of clicks.

I just want to put images in the mission files lol.

With Gimp, it's simple. Open the image, export it to *.tga
That's all.
