Author Topic: Can parts o partical effects be delayed and have their position randomly offset?  (Read 6123 times)

I wanted to do a thing with the particle effects but I need to be able to delay part of it.    e.g.   Particle 1 triggers,  wait 2 seconds, particle 2 triggers.  I can only mange to get all particles to trigger at once.
  Also need to have a the particle position to be randomly moved a shot distance in any direction.

What I wanted to try to do is add a bunch of small secondary explosions after the big explosion when the ammo is hit and have them go off like firecrakers.

Also offtopic: I was playing with the StugG and it has a the little periscope sight but you can see through the sight with the periscope retracted, is this accurate?

Periscope down


In the sight


Press 'g' to raise the sight.


Sight again



I'm thinking that when the periscope is down it should be dark in the sight like how the Stug 3C/D works.
Also the Stug 3F has this error too.

This is bug. It'll be fixed in the March Upd.
Right now, u can make a quick fix.
Open file:
data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\common\common_res.engcfg
find entries:
