I thought somewhere I had seen on this sight reference to a gunsight fix for the German Mrk IV as the gunsight has no optic calibration lines like the Russian tanks do. Secondly, I was wondering if the commander is able to see out the portals in the commander's cupola. When the commander ducks inside the tank you can see the portals but they are closed. Is there a way to open them on the German tank? Still learning things here--but having fun doing it.

One other question: I did find the mod for reducing the fractures for gunsight damage. I was wondering if that mod will work after the SP 1.5 beta fix.

Some quick answers:

- The Panzer IV gunsight has been fixed with "Unofficial" Patch v0.1
- Command key 'G' is to lift the armoured cover for the selected viewport
- The Gunsight damage fix should still work

Should I put the unofficial patch after the SP1.5 beta and fix? The reason I ask is that I put the unofficial patch first and the SP 1.5 second, but the gunsight lacks reticle lines.

Thanks, by the way, for your Mod installation manual Smiley I'm much better with graphics than text with problem solving. I haven't played your mods yet as I am working my way from the beginning.

There was a previous discussion about the Panzer IV gunsight lines, which was solved by installing the 'Widescreen fix' after the Unofficial Patch v0.1:

  John go to your config folder ; data/k42/loc_rus/config.Open the folder with notepad.Inside yoiu'll find your whole games settigns for sounds, video etc.check the rendered part like mine below as an example;

Try to play with the values for screen res or perhaps the window option and save the changes .Make a copy of the original to get it back in case you forget).Hopefully you may be able to solve your problem.
