Hi, I have seen that the August patch is in open beta testing in the russian forums... Is it compatible with the english version of APOS ? It Would be great to able to beta test it now  Txema |

How soon is soon? This weekend? This weekend would be nice   . PS.I noticed the engine will be updated to v5.81 from v5.80. What version will the game update(August patch) be?The current version is 3.08. |

Question concerning August patch?
I've downloaded the 5.81 engine and August patch to my APOS folder,do I need to do anything else since it is already unpacked?
My updater doesn't show any version change for patch,so I tried to update the August patch manually on my APOS updater and all it did was crash to desktop.

First link is a core update. Second is a patch. Install core update, select game folder, wait..., select patch, ... , Save&Play If you use Win7 dont install game to Program Files. |

Andrey, I did this I think. the upper right of my game page now reads
Version:5.80 (1729) Update: aug.12
Shouldn't it be 5.81?

yes When I click on the link, it seems to install automaticly.
Better to download it, and then execute with Admin rights. |

Hi Andrey !!
I have been testing the August Patch for some time in Quick Battles, and I have noticed that the idle animations for the soldiers (those played when they are not walking or running) seem to go very fast. For example, when I am playing at real time (X 1.0) it looks as if the animations are being reproduced at X 5.0, or something like that.
Can anybody else reproduce this bug?
