Just picked this up from GG (15 bucks, what a steal!) I've got no writing on the main menu though.  I can still play using the tooltips so it's not critical.

Take a screenshot please?

I seen another player with the same problem over at SimHq, if you don't mind me asking Flanker15 what kind of GPU/version do you have?
Cheers

It's a 460 running latest drivers on Win7.  I'm not forcing anything on the nvidia control panel either.

Hi Flanker15,
Okay this poster at SimHq with the same problem is running an ATI card (HD3870) so we now know it isn't a problem with a specific card manufacturer.  I'm not trying to sound like a butt hole but with the more detailed specifics you supply about your rig the faster a solution can probably be found by the devs. OS, DX version, GPU Driver version, card setting and in game settings, GPU over clocked or not. All this info would definately help.
Cheers

Hi Flanker15,
Just saw this post at SimHq, possiblity?

"Got mine!

Took three downloads before I got a good one. The others had missing / corrupt files.

Only taken a quick look at the game so far. I need to read the manual, too!"

My drivers the latest certified 285.62, windows 7 64, dx and such all latest, card settings are on app controlled, game settings are on default.
I re-downloaded it and installed it outside of program files this time but it's the same.
Safe mode, #cores, vidmem settings all no effect.

Boy that is weird Huh? The only other thing that I did do but didn't see you mention was running vcredist_x86_sp1 app  the in the Steel Armor\docs\support\redists folder. If you have already and it still didn't work then hopefully andrey12345 and the boys can figure it out soon. Like the poster at SimHq with the same problem, he can also still play the game too. So if this is a bug it doesn't appear to be a show stopper but it is annoying none the less.
Cheers
