BRING BACK MARKERS

« on: August 25, 2012, 05:43:29 PM »

I made an all infantry qb.  After the battle in the statistics area I could not see the numbers of kills or "trophies" that each unit made by mousing over the unit icon.  Is this enabled only for armored vehicles?

Found this in the manual while searching for answer to your other question.
4.4 Statistics
To view the statistics for all the squads and platoons, press [F4].The statistics display personnel and vehicle losses, number of enemies destroyed, and enemy
vehicles captured. Awards earned by the squad’s soldiers are shown as well. The current
condition of the troops can also be seen here.

I haven't personally checked to see if this works for quick battles yet,but you can try pressing [F4] and see if that helps during quick battle statistics phase. If not, then maybe statistics for infantry are only displayed for campaign battles.

What do the circled numbers represent?  Is that my forces versus enemy forces before battle starts?

Those numbers for those statistics never made any sense to me.I just set up a quick battle with a platoon of 43 men in it and looked to see what was represented in that statistics column and the figure I got was 20/19.So I have no idea what those numbers are suppose to represent or what info those figures are suppose to convey to the player.

I did verify that mousing over a infantry, mortar, or MG platoon leader after a campaign battle does yield numbers of enemy killed and wounded.  I don't think it does in QB however.

Approximate force strength.

Regular infantry man is 1-3 pts, MGs is 2-5 pts, gun is a 10-300 pts, tank is 100-1000 pts.
Sum all, modulate by morale, experience and stamina values. And we get those numbers for other sides.
