Thanks, but I think it's already working. It took me a while to work out what to unpack each file with, where to find them after unpacking and how to generate the map after unpacking.
It's complicate procedure. Usually, I iinclud already prepared polygon (with shadows calculated) to simplify the user's life
But in er case, u had to get over it, coz u need to know how to adjust more properly contours and use source files. I may confess, that creating polygon is even more interesting then making mission
There are a lot more tracks and track junctions
Let's use the terminology of the ME. There are three types of the roads:
- paved (highway)
- ground (village type)
- path (for the human)
On the polygon there are only two roads, all other paths.
Was I supposed to follow that Panther?
It's up to u. I placed Panther just for the atmosphere.
I think I will remove it and the two extra Tigers and start trying to make the first, driving exercise.
OK, u're boss
Learn how to create the briefing, loading screen and in-mission messages, and mark the map for the mission.
Here's my short file, which some kind as library for the mission creating.
http://www.4shared.com/rar/WXTDtzglce/training.html For the driver training mission I want to draw a dotted line along the circuit track, if I can't do that maybe it's possible to add arrows, one after another.
That's it! Placing flag is more preferable for me.
I want to start all the missions with no movement programmed in (for the player's tank or platoon anyway) so it's important that the map is marked up for each mission. Otherwise the player will get lost like me.
There is a hint. To avoid confusing, just start the mission, exit and open file. Then u'll see all u need.

Apart from playing the stock Matilda driving mission when I first bought SF, I have never driven an SF tank! All this gear-changing up and down, restarting the engine after stalling it and so on...it's a whole new world. out there
It's interesting, but not necessary. Though I remember I lost near month trying to understand how to move and reading manual
Need to do a bit more driving and experimenting but many thanks for the map, it's a great start.
With my pleasure
