Hi guys

Finally, i start the game.so happy with that.
But,when i try to setting the game.i got this Troubleshooting
Video card memory size is less than 128MB,the game is not likely to perform properly,image artifacts may appear, it is recommended to adjust the video card with bigger memory size!

i had the GTX580 with new patch,and i dont know where i can change my video card memory?

thanks

Suda, there' nothing wrong with your video card it' way above the minimum requirements! No it seems to be a common problem with Nvidia cards when trying to play SF. The game does not seem to recognize the video card' real graphic memory. You can ignore it .Ok let's say you want to set your game resolution to 1980 X 1200 and keep it that way you can do it by going into the config folder .Here's the path in one of my indtallations:

E:\Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942 NTA1.6 v2\data\k42\loc_rus\config

Once inside you'll see, amongst others, a config folder. Open it with notepad. Go to that paragraph:

//описание и конфигурация видеоадаптера
i_render:render()
{
   //адаптер
   adapter   =   0;
   //разрешение, частота, режим
   bb_wid   =   1600;
   bb_hei   =   900;
   bb_freq   =   60;
   bb_fmt   =   22;
   //режим буфера глубины
   depth_buffer   =   75;
   //обработка вершин
   vertex_processing   =   1;
   //гамма (0.0 - inf  def 1.0)
   gamma   =   1.070000;
   //яркость (-1.0:1.0 def 0.0)
   bright   =   0.500000;
   //контраст(0.0:1.0 def 1.0)
   contrast   =   1.000000;
   //антиалиасинг (тип, качество)
   aa_type   =   0;
   aa_qual   =   0;
   //уровень анизотропии
   aniso   =   0.000000;
   //пропорции экрана (4/3, 16/9, 16/1, 5/4)
   aspect   =   0.000000;
   //оконный режим
   windowed   =   0;

}// end of i_render:render

My resolution on my Toshiba laptop is et to the native screen value which I 1600 X 900. In your case change the value to the one you want , then save and exit. Now your game should be defaulted to that value. You can also try doing through the Nvidia's control panel which controls your video cards settings.

It could be your Global Settings is overiding things...
Within NVIDIA Control Panel (right click anywhere on desktop) --Manage 3D Settings, make a profile for SFk42, turn off all "Antialiasing", then test. If you want then try with Antialiasing FXAA on and Anisotropic@16x.

Keep at it, SF is well worth it!

Old stuff here not sure if still works with current drivers/gpu's:
