So these planes used to drop bombs on stuff way back, but with the NTA mod they just seem to fly around for a while and look pretty.
What's the deal?

I think there should be two types of Stukas 1. with MG 151/20 (20mm) 2. with Bordkanone BK 3,7(37mm) gun

I don't know what weapons they have but whatever it is they aren't using them in any missions.

As I mentioned above, I'd prefer two types of Stukas.

Lol sorry lockie my brain wasn't working I thought it said someone else.
Anyway, a 37 stuka would be a welcome addition but I want to get to the bottom of this problem. Is anyone else seeing the stukas attack anymore? Mine are presented with obvious targets but they just loiter for the whole mission. Il2 is attacking fine.

Anyway, a 37 stuka would be a welcome addition I think, I didn't explain properly To implement 37mm gun, we need a NEW model Ju-87G2, like this: It means, someone should model it! This aircraft would be perfect for the missions of the late period WW2.

Check the mission script! The AI in game does not change by itself unless you change the coding or the script!

Ok to start trying to fix it I'll start with the Mission in the Pz38t campaign "Persistent little Devils" mission: "fleas vs gnats" (cm_werm_6 / cm6_KY2_02). This has several stuka strikes that don't do anything, where should I start?

A good idea would be to check with Kyth since he made that mission. Have you tried playing that same mission with a different mod either NTA 1.7 or Steel Panzer Mod 2.0? Just to see if there's something in NTA 1.8 that made the behaviour of the AI change....

Ok easier one then: s04_barvenkovo in the single missions is one of the original missions. Has stukas that don't do anything after first objective is captured, remove all mods back to vanilla: stukas drop their bombs.

Aha did someone mention my Pz 38t campaign?? This has several stuka strikes that don't do anything, where should I start?
Here's an old link to the airplane tech_cfg file that works for me: http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=11111.msg31096#msg31096You could use it to overwrite the current file. Obviously someone has been screwing about with the cfg recently.

Lockie, Are you going to include this fix in the March_update? It seems important. Kyth, Flanker, thank you very much for discovering and fixing the bug Txema
