Modern Russia and the Lion now is the new national animal symbol for Russia.
Not exactly. In my opinion a lion very suitable to the Soviet Union in 70-80s in XX century. Modern Russia at the lion does not pull at all. What would be animal National symbol for modern Russia? I believe the official animal (bird) for the Russian Federation is the eagle - to be precise, the double-headed variety. (I have no photodocumentation for this species in wild or natural settings). Anyway as a layman I've always regarded their national animal symbol as a bear, regardless of the century I'm in.

Lets say for example:I buy the new DLC about modern Africa.
Would it be a stand alone DLC with a new icon for my desktop? or Will I use the Updater from GTOS and add it to that game?
This DLC installed Like any other DLCs - in game updater, like patch or DLC - over March 13 patch. If it is an addon DLC to GTOS will I be able to choose the Africa map in a Quick battle and be able to put Germans VS Russians on the Africa map?
Yes of course you can select Africa map in QB like maps in other DLCs. And may make battle as German vs Angolan army.

Where did you find that? Nothing in shipped SABOW................. But it makes me want to play angola cmpaign again. Speaking of which for some strange reason I have started collecting info on interiors of M3 LEE and m3a1 stuart tanks........ Not a conscious sort of choice. Just started happening. LOL. Hmmm so perhaps DLC for APOS/GTOS/GT whatever............ How do I get polygon into SABOW LOL> Makes me want to pick up again on oliphant and IDF shot tanks. Also oddly enough I was researching/.............. This is a wierd day. Sometimes the tinfoil hat does not keep out the waves.

Andrey posted it on the Sukhoi forum along with a picture of a German soldier carrying a radio.
I think this is the Mius River map,but wanted Andrey to confirm it.

Maybe we should get a PMP bridge to go with the river crossing.

In that picture it doesn't look like they need a bridge Besides, bridges seem to be real hassle in this game to maneuver around. If a map has one I generally avoid it and stick to the fords. Flashburn seems convinced that is an Angolan map and those are amphibious BTRs. I'm not so sure that it is Africa and the map might be South Russia and the river is just very shallow.

certainly a BTR-60/70. I can't make out the flat-topped vehicle though. Maybe a BTR-50 or a PT-76? Probably a T-38 with my luck

I'm still not sure that is a African map.
As I stated earlier,Andrey posted this map along with a German soldier carrying a radio directly below this screenshot on the Sukhoi forum.
So I'm under the impression this is a Summer 43 map in Russia somewhere, and my guess is it's the Mius front map.
Regardless, the map looks cool and I will purchase the DLC for the map alone even if it had no other content.
I've always liked maps, especially the ones that Graviteam makes. So this is already on my buy list as soon as it is released.

I suppose you might be correct. They have posted screenshots of modern Russian vehicles in battle with the Germans before..
