I have a somewhat done citybuilding Smiley its not colored or anything though and it's a .DAE file, which is blender compatible Smiley

Hi, just a general comment,

City buildings are a double-whammy, not only that they're much larger and more complex, but they also have to be placed in close proximity to other city buildings, all of which have their own unique appearance.  Tongue

Hey, Donken,  instead of modeling from scratch how about you take some buildings from Theatre of War (I'll provide the models) and just edit those?

Hi,

I'm not able to import .max files, could you post it in .obj or .3ds format?

Thanks,

Ah yes, that way we can get lots of buildings very fast if ppl script them. Good idea! Im running out of fantasy to make new houses anyway.

EDIT: Fixed house from Mistwalkers post. I attached few pieces together so it went from 32 pieces (some where way to small) to 22 and added uv map around the destroyed pieces and added founding, with a little magic from Kyths fingers we got this ingame pretty soon too! I did exactly the same as the other building Kyth got ingame, so its a little stuff to do first to import it in to the game.

Is it possible to set weight for the parts? They don't look to heavy.

They're all configurable in the 'broken_xx' engcfg file. Those walls are set at 500kg each at the moment  Shocked

But that tank is moving really fast,  Cheesy
