I wonder if the crew really did see the shell so good when fired and falling? In the game is clearly visible especialy in gunners seat with optics. Anybody knows?

I am afraid I don't understand your question? Huh?

Do you, by any chance, speak French?

I think Marcel is asking, is it realistic to clearly see the shell making its way through the air, once it's fired.

Nope, I don't know.  Smiley

.I have seen firing trials of modern tank and you clearly see the shell looping towards the target. As for the game it' s realistic in the sense that it helps you adjust the accuracy of your shots if need be.

Post amended .It was so full of typos that even I couldn't understand my own post Roll Eyes

Yes that's what i wanted to know, if the tank crew has any chance to see its own fired shell.  Smiley

I mean the player. When you play as a gunner, and you're firing, you can very clearly see your own shells. I was wondering if it was so easy in real life but i asume you could see the shell but not that clearly  as in the game.

I have no clue what a tank gunner actually sees when he fires a shell.Try looking for that on youtube. They have videos for just about anythign these days and you might find showing through a camera what the gunner sees. For WWII tank gunners  I guess depending on the velocity of the shell theywere using they certainly could see the time of flight - may be for a fraction of second .I think a 122mm heavy shell used by the JS-2 would probably be easily visible. Whereas small calibre shells 20 to 37 mm s would probably be harder for the gunner to spot.
