MMMMMM!Do you have the Beta 1.5 fix installed?
I use the Elefant very, very seldom but I have no issue with the gunsight.Other than the magnification which I disliked and changed in the common res folder.
You rporbably installed a mod that is creating some kind of conflict.Are you using the drumroll gunsight?

What´s wrong with the Elefant´s gunsight Whukid? I don't know I crash everytime I attempt to use it. I tried to create a mission for the Ferdinand and that crashed. It was my first mission, I just wanted to see her in game, I swapped the Ferdinand for the Tiger and the mission worked. So I guess mine is broken too.

Uh!I think Lockie mentioned to disenable his Real Churchill mission if you are not playing it because I ´ve got the impression thatit might create conflicts of some kind.Try removing the mission and then play the Elefant

Yes Frinik I had done that, it just happened to be enabled when I took the screenie, the Churchill mod was enabled after the problem I had which was last week.

LOckie your scenario sounds a bit farfetched!The Elefant/Ferdinand was never used against infantry. It's just idea and actually, Ferdinands were used against infantry in spite of them vulnerability murkz, I'd recommend to uninstall mission-mod "Jagdpanther over the top v1.0e" and install "Mission Pack 1.0с", where this mission already included.

My mods concern sounds and visual tweaks. I haven't played with the gunsights except in my own game and only for the last 2 days.Anyway try disenabling it but I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with your problem.Murkz does not have the mod and still had similar trouble.
It's got to be something missing or incorrect either in your tech_cfg folder or in the common res in the sights paragraph....
