"Free" Camera View Possible?

I've seen several screenshots of more viewpoints than your seat in the tank, or just behind it.  I can't seem to get any view but those two mentioned ones.  Is there a way to roam with the camera (like OpStar), or at least rotate in the behind the tank view?

When using external view (F3), use numpad keys to rotate the camera around the tank or zoom in/out. But hey, it's a cheat!  Unless you need to check something that would require getting out of the tank in IRL.

Sorry but numpad keys do not work with external view on my copy of game, I am stuck directly behind tank all the time , this severly limits any enjoyment in the game, I have to turn tank to try to get some situational awareness.

My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 9400 gt, could that be anything to do with it?, and game is patched with latest update.

Have you hit num lock first?

Press Num Lock key or enable it auto pick up in BIOS settings.

Flanker15 andrey12345 Yes thanks for that, Num Lock key worked for me, fantastic game already now even better, I can watch the air strikes now.

andrey12345 I also have Operation star and original Achtung panzer and also looking forward to the summer DLC on the 15th from Gamersgate great work.
