Title: (SOLVED) Game doesn't start Post by: chaudard on March 05, 2016, 01:34:45 PM ...Continued from Steam forums.
The game crashes immediately after launching. Starter.exe crashes. I see I don't have the Service Pack 1 of Seven 64 bits. I tried to reinstall the game, DirectX and vcredist from_CommonRedist. The game still crashes. I cannot install Service Pack 1 (SP1 is mandatory to download Windows 10), I tried to fix all Microsoft Updates issues... If I have to buy Windows 8 or Windows 10 to fix the problem, it's 150 euros... And I have old programs and games not compatibles with Windows 10. So, I have to wait some years before to play Mius if the problem is not fixed. I don't quite understand why you can't install SP1, it asks to install windows 10? This page doesn't seem to provide this "service": https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842.
Title: Re: Game doesn't start Post by: chaudard on March 05, 2016, 01:46:42 PM I already downloaded this file. Windows told some core components are missing to install SP1, I executed all the diagnostics without success. I am searching more.
