Title: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: whukid on August 19, 2012, 01:01:06 AM Hello,
First off, what the hell is this thing, and why does it come in Panzer II, Panzer III, and Panzer IV flavors? (http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n585/whukid/300749_476521729026480_1078909125_n.jpg) Second, how do we get it in game ;D Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: Donken on August 19, 2012, 01:07:20 AM The first thing that popped up in my head is that it looks like a drivers training vehicle, Germany used lots of those at their panzer schools =)

I've never thought of that. They're called the fahrschul , which I guess means Driver School in German (should've recognized that off the bat. whoops) Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: frinik on August 19, 2012, 03:20:11 AM Either that of some kind of towing vehicle....

Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: Rends on August 23, 2012, 09:12:18 AM From the 5 running big wheels it looks like a SdKfz 121 aka Panzer II Ausf. C
But there are two more upper small wheels missing. So this could be a test model or an repaired Panzer II but i don't know it exactly. Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: Donken on August 23, 2012, 10:41:00 AM It is an early Panzer 3 :D
Pz3 ausf A: (http://www.ww2incolor.com/d/536660-4/Panzer-1%23) And this is the one almost everyone have seen, A Pz3 ausf H (http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e333/panther3485/pz3h1.jpg) Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: whukid on August 23, 2012, 02:30:32 PM This idea is so foreign to me. In the US, we just use the whole damn thing and train everybody in the art of driving, loading, and shooting. :P
Everytime I see it, it screams "Armored Personnel Carrier" to me :) Title: Re: Vehicle suggestion/ identification Post by: Rends on August 23, 2012, 04:33:53 PM This idea is so foreign to me. Only 10 tanks were build and it seems that instead of wrecking them they were used for practice. |
