Title: Gunnery manual for Beginners
Post by: Gunnyhighway on May 02, 2014, 02:05:58 PM
I just published a "Gunnery manual, beginner level for German WWII armor Sim enthusiasts" as I never found anything complete answering my questions in details.

As sometimes I see questions asked about armor sims by new comers, I know by experience that it is one thing to get a sim to work perfectly on a PC. It is also another, to make sure that all system simulated are understood and properly used without frustrations and discouragements.

Which lack thereof insure the longevity of simulation games. :)

I hope it will be helpful!

Those are new shortcuts (5/23/2014) plus the second one is a direct download.

Gunny, how do I download it from that site without downloading some downloader that they are pushing?
It's not clear which of the multiple download buttons does the trick jus to get your file.

on the first page of the site:
starting from the top, left hand side,
Under "view document", click on the "download" button.
then on the next page:
Click on the window in the middle of the screen that says:
                                              Waiting time
                                                 0
                                                 Seconds
                                              Free Download

i.e.
Q. How to define the distance to the target?
A. Here is "Gunnery manual for Beginners" by Gunnyhighway.

You are the Boss Lockie!....

I am working on a similar guide now, but with Russian optical sights on German targets.

I need your Authorization to use picture from SFK 42 game play with the sights and the ones you reproduced.

I also have questions since I am covering all the Russian sights, from all the different танк!

I could always draw by hand those sights in action, but it is always good to have pictures as people will recognize them playing SFK 42, it will improve the learning curve.

PM me for your answers!

Sincerely,

I'm king of the Universe!  ;D  :P  :D
In fact, NTA is collective work, which concentrated to provide missions with a new techniks/objects. It does, that any units is supposed to be organized only for the missions. Means, we may release more units, but without missions it's not interesting and there is no fun at all to get new unit without appropriate mission.
I.e. for the new mission the next units/objects will be available: apc 251/9(late), 234/2(Puma), Panther F, JS-3, new tree oak, new building. That's why some of them already implemented ;)

There are no any restrictions. Use whatever u want. NTA is for everybody who wants to play SF.

Sorry Gunny.  I must be the only one that can't dl this.  I don't see "view document" anywhere but I can get to free download part but it is grayed out and clicking does nothing.

Correction:  I changed browser and found the view document area but the site still wants me to download their download manager, something called Gunnery Manual.exe.  All I want to do is download a .pdf, not another 3rd party dl manager.
