Title: May 2014 Patch Post by: chilemike on July 27, 2014, 12:48:43 PM Just downloaded and installed the game yesterday from Gamersgate. I have version 5.81 (2283) Do I need to install this patch or is it already updated.? Also, I installed the hi-res pack...do I need the optional polygon pack? Thanks again
Title: Re: May 2014 Patch Post by: Krabb on July 27, 2014, 01:32:23 PM Yes, you need the May patch, the one included with GamersGate's installer is older (August 2013 as far as I remember). Polygon pack isn't needed, it is included with GG's installer. And as of the Hi-Res pack, you should put it above the patch and DLCs in the updater utility (see the wiki: Installing updates and modifications (http://gravitac.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Installing_updates_and_modifications)).
