Title: Steam - Failed To Start Game - Error. Post by: Muley on June 08, 2015, 02:32:07 PM I have had this game for a long time. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to reinstall this game but now I cant play it I just get this message all the time? " failed to start game"
I have uninstalled and gone through the whole help thing that steam provides but still no luck!!! Can anyone help? Title: Re: Steam - Failed To Start Game - Error. Try reinstalling MS redistributables: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347) and DirectX 9.0 June 2010 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109).
