I deploy my German rifle platoon in a defilade position. Thus, despite being in an open field, they should have excellent LOS to spot and shot while having adequate cover from return fire. (I have spread them out considerably to try to address the risk of bombardment.) (you see the defensive preparations looking left, center, and right) Will the soldier/squad AI take advantage of defilade position? Thanks! Post by: MarkShot on September 30, 2015, 02:35:41 PM The only potential issue I see is that by allowing the deployment AI to move them to "take up defense" brought them too far up the far side (away from the Soviets) of the ditch.
