I've posted an album on my page which is a snap shot of one particular battle. Open the first screenshot then go through them. Descriptions have been added to explain what's going on. It was very exciting and really shows off the AI, attacking through covered gullies and trying the flanks or rear. Also follow a shell from being fired by an Inf Gun to the impact point and a gruesome death.

Thanks. Yes it's been brialliant to watch the fighting around that gun platoon. Real intnese defensive fighting as the Russians press attacks from different directions. When I saw them coming in from the flank I was praying the guns would manage to spot and shift oposition in time..the relief when the first shot went off.

I've been very fortunate I think in where I postioned my troops. The blocking force in the houses at the end of the gully has been a big player so far. If they weren't there the Russians would have managed to get a foothold in the town\village without being spotted.

The whole thing has been playing out like something I've read in a memior.

Great stuff, loved the shell in flight.  I find the game far more addictive than the CM series which now look dated and dusty.  All we need is the new skins ( I might have mentioned it before once or twice) and we will have near perfection.
