Title: OOB - was driving me crazy
Post by: Count Sessine on March 29, 2016, 06:59:28 PM
Well, I know Graviteam think their abbreviations for the German OOB are logical... not to me.

The 17 AC was driving me nuts. What was it?

I finally conclude it is the 17 Armee-Corps (just a training company - feld-ersatz?).

So they use 'TD' for panzer-divisions and 'AC' for infantry corps... mixing German and Soviet designations is not logical to me

:-D

17 Army Corps.
What are the other options?

I finally conclude it is the 17 Armee-Corps (just a training company - feld-ersatz?).
It is directly subordinate.

So they use 'TD' for panzer-divisions
TD - Tank Division not panzer, game not have German locale only English and Russian

and 'AC' for infantry corps...
Army, not infantry

mixing German and Soviet designations is not logical to me
Game has no German designations

Yes, you're right. I bow my head in shame - it should have been 17 AK had you followed German practice.

And thank you for the new patch!
